Clear Measure has been on a hiring frenzy. As seen in our previous posts, we like to post a bio of each of our employees as they join. Over the next few days we’ll be sharing with you the new faces that have joined Clear Measure over the past week. We’ve introduced you to Justin, now meet Miguel, our new Principal Engineer.

Miguel has designed, developed and managed dozens of software projects for clients in a wide variety of industries including emergency management, media, insurance, real estate, logistics, marketing, education and retail.  In the process, he has gained valuable experience building highly available, high bandwidth applications. He has a passion for robust, precise and efficient software development. His recent focus has been in leading the development of distributed, scalable applications for several top tier clients.

After obtaining his B.A. in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin, Miguel began his career as a software developer designing portable window-based client applications. Since that time he was worked for numerous companies, such as the United States Chemical Weapons Program, Hearst, Belo Interactive, Wachovia, and DELL. His work has included heavy .NET utilization in C#, as well as many other technologies and code languages.

At Clear Measure, Miguel’s title will be Principal Software Engineer. As such he will be one of the lead developers for multiple projects and will have much to do by way of each project’s coding portions. His first project will be the implementation of a servicebus-based messaging system using NServiceBus and Azure Storage to improve performance, scalability and reliability of an existing event processing framework. Miguel is an awesome addition to our developer corp and his work will be instrumental in ensuring our growing client base receives only the best software development.
